Description

Little Mole - a character that enchanted practically the whole world and became a mascot of space flight - is made of various materials, but the most beautiful is wood. Wooden toys, wooden beads and buttons became well-known products of the Schowanek company from Jiřetín pod Bukovou at the end of the First World War. The original production plant, which opened on leased premises in 1869, focused on the production of wooden textile bobbins, with the production programme later expanding in a new production building. The woodworking factory complex here dates back to the beginning of the 20th century and maintains the tradition of production, also allowing visitors to learn about all the processes involved. Breathe in the scent of wood and paint to return to your childhood. You also have the opportunity to create a small souvenir with your children, to learn about the history and to go through the production process from start to finish. The choice of what then to buy from the company shop is not an easy one. When you see the range of toys in our stores, you will definitely remember that DETOA products are among the finest and cutest toys for our little ones.
