Stara Kuźnia - the Old Smithy - is a ceramic studio creating handicraft items. It offers workshops on how to operate a potter’s wheel, on ceramics, decoupage, soap, and knitting. This place can be visited by appointment. The Old Smithy is a renovated building of a former smithy, where handicraft workshops are currently held. These are mainly ceramics workshops including instruction how to work on a potter’s wheel.
Cap-making, soap, lipstick and decoupage workshops are also offered.
It is a place where you can watch local craftsmen or buy their products.
In order to preserve the old atmosphere, historical items from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries used in the work of a blacksmith, such as: an anvil, bellows and old blacksmith's tools, are exhibited. The visitor's watchful eye can also discover items related to the mining history of the area, such as a carbide lamp or a shovel.
